A Fire Ignited
A fire ignited within me Which you set aflame Lighting the bottomless crevasse Which was my soul Never has anyone reached me Deep inside and created a spark Now a great fire shared by both of us
For some time we cherished, What vibrant blaze we had. But what time brought, time took away And our fire began to waver, and sway... It became weaker as the cruel winds blew on Smaller, each day, dimmer... Until finally.....it was.... gone...
